BEIJING, Oct. 9 (Xinhua) -- China recorded 826 million domestic tourist trips during the seven-day National Day holiday, with tourism spending totaling 738.38 billion yuan (about 109.67 billion U.S. dollars), the Ministry of Culture and Tourism said Friday.
On a daily average basis, the number of domestic trips rose 6.3 percent from the eight-day National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday in 2025, while tourism spending increased 4.3 percent, according to the ministry. ■
