BEIJING, Aug. 12 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted 107 km WNW of Kerema, Papua New Guinea at 1706 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 7.63 degrees south latitude and 144.86 degrees east longitude. ■
